LABOR DAY CAMPOUT

CCAS Camping & Permit Rules, Regulations and Policies

In order to request and be considered for a camping permit, applications and payments must be received and sites will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. NOTE there are no guarantees.

• The Campout Permit is valid check in date through check out date. Camping units may be placed on assigned lots after 2pm on check in date and must be out by 12 p.m. noon on check out date. Permit MUST be visibly displayed on registered camper.

• Camper/camping placement outside of assigned campsite boundary or in another campsite boundary without the written approval of the CCAS Camping Committee chair (Eric Wehrum, 513-317-5035) WILL result in loss of camping privileges.

• Refunds will be honored with at least 72 hour notice.

 

Fairground Rules

• The Primary Registrant must be an adult staying in the camping unit and is responsible for the behavior and welfare of all other members.

• DO NOT DRINK THE WATER. Water is not potable (not suitable for consumption).

• NO OUTSIDE REFRIGERATORS PERMITTED (not specifically integrated as part of the camper).

• Open fires will be permitted in 24” contained ring only. Camper must furnish the ring. All fires must be contained within your fire ring. No skids, pallets, etc. that doesn’t fit within the ring. Do Not burn anything containing metal such as nails, staples, screws, bolts, hinges etc. No grilling, cooking or other sources of open flames are permitted under awnings or canopies.

• Intoxicating beverages except at your campsite, profane or vulgar language, excessive noise and/or disorderly conduct of any type will not be tolerated. Any of these is sufficient reason for the eviction from camping areas and fairgrounds without refund of any fees.

• Camping areas must be quieted by 12 a.m. midnight—CURFEW TIME—and campers must be on their respective lots by then. Any person not observing the curfew may be evicted.

• One camping unit per lot. No one is permitted to sleep in a car. In no case will more than one registered user be allowed in one assigned area.

• Only two cars per campsite if space allows. Visitors and all other vehicles must go to the infield parking area.

• No camper water is to be dumped on the ground. Solid waste, garbage, cans and paper are to be disposed of in trash barrels. Absolutely no leaking of gray or black water. Violators will be asked to leave and their camping fees forfeited.

• Failure to use assigned campsite or transfer of site without the permission of the CCAS’s written approval WILL result in loss of camping privileges.

• Bicycles are welcome on the grounds. Golf carts and/or gators are allowed with a $25 fee. They must be registered at the camp office, show proof of insurance and be operated by a licensed driver. Use common sense safety precautions when operating them. NO ATV/Four-Wheelers are allowed. 10 MPH speed limited thru out the fairgrounds must be observed at all times.

• Camping locations to be determined by the camping supervisor.

• When you arrive and before you set up, visit the office to check in and receive your camping permit. Permit must be visible from the road so that in an emergency you can easily be found.

• Pets must be registered at the office, kept on a leash at all times and cleaned up after.

 

Waiver of Liability

I for myself, my executors, administrators and assignees, do hereby release and discharge all sponsors, coordinators groups, volunteers and any individuals associated with this campground, for all claim or damages, actions and whatsoever in manner arising or growing out of my stay in said campground. By purchasing this campsite you agree to the above waiver.
